Staff friendly and made you feel welcome to the museum. Interesting private collections. Really would be nice if it would expand history of area. In addition, serve as a focal point to really show off Ft Payne and welcome new visitors into the area.

Clean interesting and even better are the renovated parks by it. Can spend hours there with kids. Clean, secure and family oriented. You get what you get in a lot of downtowns but I found this very nice.

I passed the area a week ago and had to return to get some pictures of it. The depot is simply gorgeous and photographs well. The museum was closed when I passed through so I didn't get to go inside. But the view from the outside was great and I took advantage of it with my camera.

I've stopped here many times, but never when the museum was open. The depot is a real treasure. The stonework is outstanding. It truly is a unique architectural feature in the area. Even if it's closed, it's worth a stop just to get out of your car and admire it.

Neat place to visit. It is between the two city parks and a nice break in the heat in the summer. Neat items of area history and the people are friendly and helpful.

I first visited this Depot in 1967 when I was only 15. We were catching Southern Railways "The Pelican" on our way to Mexico Via New Orleans. My Wife and I have visited this location several times over the years, there are a lots of Antique Shops and Flea Markets in the Area. Great Place to Visit.

Interesting insight into this town, which is said to have a boom & bust that lasted just 3 years. It is housed in the old Depot Building which is fascinating in its own right.Of particular interest is a collection of Glass Wallking Sticks.
