i used to love going to unclaimed baggage but had not been there in a while since it seemed as if the last time i went the prices had gone up. well that was not the case at this visit. although i did not find what i was hoping to (leap pad games). they had a lot of leap pads and leapsters for good prices. my daughter enjoyed dip n dots and i enjoyed a frappe from cups as we browsed. then went to the childrens section and she watched tv and even played with one of the staff, Kaylin. they had 75% off winter coats and jackets and 50% off winter shirts. i was able to find a few things to put back for next year and got some new with tags shirts for under $5 each. Kaylin was able to point me in the direction of items of interest and explain the tags. Mallory asked if we can come back and visit Kaylin one day. she made our trip special on top of the good deals i found. hopefully she will be there on our next visit.

My family and I visited unclaimed baggage this past Saturday and I was quite pleased. I found great deals in every department and loved the 50% off on coats. I must brag on Mrs. Stephanie Velazquez, this young lady went above and beyond by helping me find the perfect coat. She was well mannered and patient with me and my family. To people like myself, costumer service is a must have and Unclaimed baggage is an outstanding store with a great team of workers. I will be coming back soon and will definitely ask Mrs. Velazquez for assistance again.

First... If you have never been... GO, just to say you visited this famous thrift store. It was not what we thought it would be. There were racks and racks of clothes and if you want to sort through clothes that seemed somewhat outdated then you will be happy. The book section was nice. Jewelry was either priced right or very high. It just depends on what you want to spend. I will say this... the staff was extremely helpful and nice, the onsite café was very good. I can now say I have been to the Unclaimed Baggage Center, but honestly, don't care to go again.

Amanda Burt assisted me at the jewelry counter today and she was very friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. She patiently help me locate a matching necklace and bracelet of matching genuine gemstones. She made our 2 1/2 hour trip to Unclaimed Baggage very worthwhile and we look forward to going back there to shop for more treasures with Amanda.

I traveled from Birmingham with a couple friends not knowing what to expect. We purchased expensive sunglasses, perfume, numerous coats, costume jewelry, expensive purses, and one friend purchased a David Yurman ring and bracelet. We were in shock!! Can't wait to go back!! Amanda Burt and Pat Gray went above and beyond showing us everything in the jewelry case.

Depending on the day you go you can find amazing deals. They have a great shoe dept and electronics dept. They also have a great coffee shop, try their cookies! They have such a wide selection of items, there is something for everyone.

Wow!! What a place to sometime find some great deals. We did not trust the electronics but found some great end of the season deals for their winter clothing. Got a leather coat for $11.00 and some nice Converse shoes for $13.00. Both still had the tags on. Also found some great books for just a couple of dollars.

Go in on a mission or to browse. You had better know your prices before dumping items in the cart. There are bargains for the smart shopper. Impulse shopper be careful. Overall well worth a stop if passing through the area.

The place looks nice, but you are paying retail prices for used garbage! It's a thrift store!!! I don't see why all the fuss is about.

It is true what people say about UCB..."you never know what you will find." A visit to Unclaimed Baggage is like a treasure hunt. I always find something new. UCB is home to one of the largest dry cleaners in the Southeast. When homeless luggage is unpacked at the processing center, each article is cleaned and tagged. These new items make their way into the large retail store where you can browse to your hearts content. The prices are much, much lower than retail. There are several dressing rooms available for you to try on the clothes. Don't forget to visit the upstairs electronics section where you might discover a burning desire to learn to play the clarinet with your recently purchased find! The Annex offers housewares and personal care items. If you want to be treated like a local yokel, arrive at 7:50 a.m. on Saturday morning. Rub elbows with some of Scottsboro's finest. The doors open at 8. Also visit their FB page for upcoming specials.

There may some good deals but for the mot part it is an overpriced thrift shop. It looked like it has been remodeled so it was very pleasent to shop but it was still used things.
