It's surreal thinking about the history behind the fountain, but even so, it's beautiful. Taller than I expected and surrounded by historical plaques and buildings. The capital building is visible from the fountain as well.

Its a very beautiful fountain. It is nice to know the history behind it. but I'm just not that much of a fountain person.

Had to make a stop to see this fountain, did not realize it was near the bus stop that would change history. Such a beautiful piece of art with view to the capitol building.

this is an historic and pretty fountain. read up on it's history first in order to appreciate it properly. it is a backdrop to many events in the civil rights movement.

This old, beautiful fountain sits in a city square in the historical section of Montgomery. The fountain is beautiful and it's located just 10 paces from the bus stop where Rosa Parks refused to move to the back of the bus in 1955. It's worth the 15 minute stop.

We drove around the round about surrounding the Court Square Fountain twice. It is a lovely large fountain - one you don't see being erected too often now.

We stood at "the bus stop" and had just a few moments for a time for reflection. The fountain itself is very nice and there was some small amount of work/construction that had taken place around it, but that did not detract from the experience. Imagining what may have been going through Ms. Rosa Parks' mind that day prior to getting on the bus for a ride that changed a nation. Great history and really glad we were able to visit.

It was just a short walk from our hotel. Daughter and I snapped Selfie and it looked like we were in some European plaza!

This was a beautiful fountain that looked as if it took thousands of hours to construct. I would highly recommend a close up view at the exquisite fountain.
