This highway attraction was very neat. I would have bought a truck load of knotty things but we did not have room. The stuffed animals in the diaramas were awesome. There were a lot of souvineers

We usually stop once or twice a year on our way back from camping. They have examples of stuffed Alaskan animals, Alaskan made gifts and best of all ICE CREAM.

The Knotty Shop is Fairbank's best source of Alaska made curios! It's a go-to place whenever we have out-of-state guests in town.

The Knotty Shop offers a nice selection of wood items and other gifts. We enjoyed our visit there, looking at the animals in the back, and shopping for some souvenirs. We would definitely stop there again when visiting the area.

Great stop filled with nice AK made gifts. Not your usual tourist trap. Excellent ice cream and a neat animal display. Nice rest rooms too. I'ld go just for the Ice cream.

As with so many Alaskan roadside "attractions" this one is a giant gift shop. This is a uniquely Alaskan destination. Out front are sculptures made with the signature Alaskan burl wood. Indoors, they offer a lovely taxidermy display of Alaskan wildlife. I suggest picking up a few pairs of Alaska Socks. They are the best! A lot of the wares here are from local artisans, so you are getting more than the usual kitsch here. I would highly recommend this stop to anyone looking for something different from their roadside stop.

Staff was very friendly and they had a lot of pretty cool hand made stuff from wood. Had an ice cream and walked around. Kids enjoyed it too.

The Knotty Shop is located just past Eielsen Air Force Base, so it is not as far as one might think. As a long time Fairbanksan, I always take visitors to the Knotty Shop. Its a uniquely Alaskan destination with their burl statues out front and their indoor wildlife taxidermy display. They also have a nice selection of souvenirs and local crafts. But, my favorite is the ice cream--its a must-stop anytime I'm headed down the highway.

Lots of interesting hand made wood items. Fun to look around . Bought a couple souvenirs for myself and as gifts. You don't have to but anything you can just enjoy the visit.

We stop here on our way to Fairbanks Alaska. We bought several gifts. They have plenty of thing to look at and buy. They have very good ice cream. I want to go back and look some more. It's a large building and nice people working there. We were there in June 2012
