Best halibut fishing trip ever! We will be back each year to go out on the water with Capt. Bob. His experience, expertise and also his humor made it enjoyable for the whole family. He's really good with teaching kids too.

We used DAA last year and had a great time. This year was even better! Linda and her staff really go out of their way to make their customers happy. We booked three days of sockeye fishing and the guides are top notch. Our cabin was great! Can't wait to come back next year!

We had a great time. Linda and the staff were fantastic. She answered all my questions before the trip and was super helpful when we arrived. We found this place due to a Groupon for 4 nights housing and 3 days of Halibut/Salmon fishing. The fishing was great, everyone caught limits of halibut, and all the boat captains/deckhands were nice, helpful and generally great people. The cabins were clean and comfy. The cabin had multiple bedrooms, bathroom, heater, kitchen, dining table, BBQ, sofa. It felt like home. They also had items to loan, including waders, shovels for clamming, and fishing gear. The staff at the Discover Alaskan Adventures were helpful, kind, and just plain fantastic. My wife and I are already contemplating coming back. Great view from our cabin, great weather, great fishing, great people. Thanks to Linda, Bob, Sandra, Mike, Katie, Daniel, Andy & Ritchie for a great trip and experience in Alaska. We'll be back with friends.

Discover Alaska Adventures gave us a great experience, 4 nights and three days fishing. I really didn't know what to expect. They were very accommodating and helpful, especially since we had to scramble because Jet Blue left my bag in Seattle. Our accommodations were gorgeous. An apartment over a garage on a private property. Incredible view, full kitchen, two bedrooms. We fished twice for halibut. Stayed out until every one caught their limit and there was no pressure to keep anything until you wanted it. One day salmon fishing. Unfortunately fish were hard to come by but that's fishing! Thanks to Linda, Captain Katie, Daniel and Colton

We had the whole boat for a charter last summer. There were six of us on the charter. We used the 2 for 1 groupon. Like most charters you get what you pay for. The captain and deckhand were friendly and helped the newbies get going. I don't think that we were on the "usual" DAA boat and may have been pawned off to another boat that they organized. It was worth the money and the trip. We did feel like we were in the rushed out, get your fish and rush back so they could take another group. We did through some back. Our fish were 15-30 pounds on average with most of this type of charter. Overall we would do again but only for the right price (half) especially now that you can only get one decent halibut and one chicken with the new regulations. I fear the charters are going to take a big hit, nobody is going to pay $250 to run out and catch one halibut of reasonable size.
