Who knew! We spent three days in Bentonville over New Years Eve ,2015. What a first class experience. The 21C MUSEUM HOTEL was excellent. The room beautiful appointed. Bathroom and amenities were lovely, spacious, and bright. Watch out for the green penguin traveling throughout the hotel. He and his friends are always around. The first night was noisy because of the circulating air system. They fixed it as soon as I told the front desk. The art throughout the hotel is a treat.Crystal Bridges Museum offered an exciting temporary exhibit titled State of the art. It leaves on January 15,2015. I am hoping this exhibition is representative of future exhibitions. The art walks, bike and walking trails were well laid out.Eating was outstanding. Restaurants and food. Azel Tequila, upscale mexican, was fun and delicious. The Pressroom has a great lunch and breakfast. Station cafe was a breakfast with remembering small town diners. Travola was delicious italian meal. For New Years Eve , we had the five course dinner at the Hive in the Hotel. Lunch at Eleven at Crystal bridges was easy and delicious. We ran out of time to eat at all the interesting places. We parked when we arrived and never moved the car again. Walking everywhere was part of the experience As we were there in winter, we had ice skating and outdoor crepes. Summer the rink becomes a swimming pond. I will return!

Stopped in to use the restroom & see what was in Bentonville, besides Wal-Mart, turns out there is quite a bit more to this place.Lobby Manager Diana was so nice, She informed me of world class art museum, Indian Artifact displays, Bike trails and so much more. She is a proud native Northwest Arkansan, so she has seen the evolution of Bentonville and surrounding area. Then we stood at the windows facing the square, watched people and visited for probably a good 20 minutes. She answered some questions I had and we shared perspectives of different things. A very enjoyable time. She was training a young lady that day, Bailey I believe. If she is anywhere near as pleasant as Diana, you will enjoy her too.
