The Wings of Honor Museum is a fantastic tribute to the WW II Cadets who trained at the Walnut Ridge Army Air Field from 1942--1944. The museum is full of exhibits, memorabilia, history, and tributes to ALL veterans. Baby Boomers and veterans will certainly enjoy the museum, but it is an excellent opportunity for later generations to learn of the historical imprint of WW II and the sacrifice some many brave Americans made to defend our freedoms. Admission to museum is free, but donations are appreciated. There is also a very nice gift shop located in the museum. Wings of Honor is located at the Walnut Ridge Airport, approximately 3 miles north on Walnut Ridge on Hwy 67N. I highly recommend visiting this museum.
