ice house bar & grill

I recently visited the Ice House Bar & Grill to meet up with some friends I had not seen in a while. I found it to be a very pleasant experience. Service was good, the bar was cheerful and drinks reasonably priced. It did get loud after the band started but that is nature of a live band bar - BTW - the band was pretty good and there was no cover. I would go back to the Ice House in a heartbeat.

The waitresses dress like there in a strip joint and the food sucks' I think the new owner encourages this type of look . He seems to be like an old drunken fool.That thinks hes young.

Visited the Ice House recently at 7 PM on a Tuesday. The place was full of fans watching the Bruins playoff game. Apparently, management didn't take that into consideration as there was only 1 waitress on. Service was slow and the waitress was unenthusiastic. I tried the fish taco wrap special ($8), which came with fries. Both the wrap and fries were good. The food in general is standard pub fare....no complaints, but nothing special either. I've been to the Ice House (formerly Ice Chest) several times over the past few years, but it seems that during the last year or so, service has gone down hill....unless Hillary is waitressing. She's a great server (and no, I'm not a friend or relative).
