Shaker Hills is a beautiful golf course, well-maintained and peaceful with incredible foliage. I played it on November 9th and it was in great shape even that late in the season. The course is challenging but fun. The pace of play was fine even though it was pretty crowded. The new owners have redesigned a few of the holes and completely renovated the club house. All great improvements. The staff was friendly and helpful. (no grumpy starters here) There is a pro-shop, practice green and driving range. A full service bar and restaurant. I highly recommend the Bloody Mary's.

We attended the Country Club for a wedding. The set-up was beautiful and the reception had delicious food and great fun on the dance floor.

Accuracy is a must on some holes... others are forgiving and allow you to catch up...Having never played here before I was able to make a few pars, and a whole bunch of bogeys. Staff was polite and friendly and the course was nicely taken care of. The day we playedwe noticed lots of white foam balls in the tee and fairways... come to find out it was fertilizer... no worries...Pace of play put us around 4 hours plus... not bad for someone who had never played herebefore. This course is pricey, but we had purchased a course special back during the spring golfing shows. The whole setting is inviting and I would assume others have used this setting for something other than golf.Good overall.... but would wait again for pricing specials....

It was by far the nicest public Golf Course I have ever played on or seen so far. The event planning and condition of the course was impecable. Staff was the best !!! Can't wait to get back there. Lunch was excellent.

I always enjoy playing Shaker Hills Golf Course. In general the fairways are narrow enough to force straight shots, but wide enough to be enjoyable. The championship tees stretch to 7,000 yards, with blue at 6500 and white at 6,000 there is a length for all of my playing partners. Several holes have large changes in elevation that make for scenic views and challenging shots.Trees line the fairways, keeping the other fairways out of view without causing a lot of lost balls. The course continues to improve and the 18th green is now in sight of the clubhouse balcony. The price continues to increase, but is worth the trip.
