It's a quiet spot in the offseason. You can walk the beach and pick up something to eat at Kellys. Tough to beat.

This is nice beach for an urban area. There is on street parking. There were a lot of families and it's pretty clean. The sand isn't like white sand beaches on a tropical island but it's pretty good. There are some good restaurants within walking distance. Pizza, ice cream and Kelly's Roast Beef which serves lobster rolls, fried seafood, roast beef sandwiches. All in all it is a nice place. Nothing fancy but convenient.

Most people would not think twice about not going to Revere Beach, but my husband and I like to go here. We have fond memories of America's first beach and look forward to our yearly visits.

Met nice people there. Very good to bring kids to play with the sand, walk around, and people watching. The view is really nice. And you can watch low flying airplanes that just took off or about to land. However, there are some people who don't care about others and leave their trash by the beach: broken bottles, cigarette butts, food wrappers...Still, it's a good place to walk, run, or just sit and relax... But not to swim... Too cold!

As far as beaches around Boston in December, I think it was up to par, but it was cold, a bit dreary and not spectacular. But it was December, so it wasn't terrible.

Okay, it isn't a high end fancy beach, but I love this beach. Its just under three mile crescent shape makes a fabulous shoreline which spectacularly sparkles at night. Pros: a flat, very wide sidewalk that spans the entire shoreline which is a more than perfect venue for roller blading, running, walking, and bicycling.Sitting on a bench at night (on the Beachmont end of the beach) you can see the planes come right over your head on their final descent into Logan Airport. It's great fun. Here's the biggest perk, FREE PARKING! No meters! Virtually unheard of today, especially a mere few miles from Boston.Revere Beach is the home of famous Kelly's Roast Beef well as other eating establishments which offer tasty snack/lunch/dinner items.Revere Beach is accessible by the Blue Line. Exit either Revere Beach Stop or Wonderland Station Stop.Best of all: Every July Revere a Beach hosts a world class sand sculpting festival with competitors flying in from all around the Globe. Cons: I feel the sand could be thicker and nicer in some parts and more than a few times I have found glass in the sand. Beware, always wear shoes on the sand! All in all It is a well maintained beach which the citizens of this city are fiercely proud of, rightfully so.Just remember, the average beach goers here are not the fancy type, just good, down to earth human beings enjoying a lovely day at the beach. If you are looking for high end amenities this beach doesn't fit the bill. I love the place. It has its own charm.800 827 6836satisfaction guaranteeeasy returns

Revere has really picked up on the summer activities here. There is a lot going on from May to September as well as a farmers market on Thursdays. And there are lots of kid friendly events all summer as well.

If you are a history buff, go online and look at the history of Revere Beach. There is a Youtube presentation with swing music. The beach was a happening place after WWII. It has since reflected the evolutions within the US. Interesting. Oh yes, it is also a beautiful beach where you can swim all day and eat things you find across the street. Go to Kelly's and get some yummy, but a bit pricey, food. There is no town at all. Go to the beach and leave.

We didn't have much time, but wanted to stop at Revere Beach to see the first official public beach in America. My daughter and I love the beach! Since it was October, it was chilly when we stopped, and we weren't dressed to walk out to the water, so we stayed near the pavilions and took photos from there. Beautiful setting, and a great beach to relax on a chilly autumn evening.

Revere Beach was awesome to go to! Outside of the Beach there was restaurants. The beach was very clean! Revere Beach is the most visited beach in Boston, MA. If you are ever in Boston this is a must place to go!

Revere Beach has had a number of transformations - when I was growing up there were amusements along the beach. In the late 60s with lots of the Mystic River Jews moving away the area went into decline and after the blizzard of 1978 the area was redeveloped and now hosts condos, apartments and some commercial spaces. The beach remains pristine and is very popular with sunbathers - you can walk from Winthrop up to Point of Pines for great exercise and even stop at the famous Kelly's at the corner of Oak Island Blvd and Revere Beach Parkway for a treat!

Revere Beach has the distinction of being the First Public Beach in America. One time it had an Amusement Park called Wonderland, a name the "T" Stop still carries to this day. There have been it's ups and downs these past 20 years, but all in all still a nice place to sit and watch the world go by with the ever present smell of salt from the ocean and the serenade of the Sea Birds. Make it a point to enjoy one of two landmarks on that beach. Kelley's Roast Beef and Bianchi's Pizza. Revere Staples since I was a kid living here over 25 years ago.

Beach could be cleaner. Lunch at Kelly's was amazing, famous for their roast beef sandwiches and Lobster Rolls, we were not disappointed

My first time here after hearing from different people how great it was, well I disagree. Yes the beach is huge but there are so many shells its very difficult to walk into the ocean. The public bathroom is filthy (yes I know it's a "public bathroom")No where to hang your beach bag and towel which was fun trying to maneuver. There's really not much by it just a few eateries I personally like Salisbury beach better but that's my opinion. They have massive seagulls flying around not only do they stalk you for food they rip bags out of the garbage and tear them apart. We only stayed for a little while.

A quick car ride from Boston. Great for walks along the beach especially at sunset and as an added treat you can watch the planes come in as they are landing at Logan. Don't forget to get done ice cream at Kells.
