Has a great little museum, wonderful for getting out and about in nature. Beautiful in all seasons and great for an afternoon walk. Enjoy

We love to walk here all year round. The sustainable visitors center is impressive. We enjoy walking around on the trails and just sitting by the lake and enjoying the serenity. Well maintained and easy to hike.

ARNWR is a wonderful place to explore, particularly if you are an avid bird watcher as I am. The variety of wildlife is breathtaking, and the trails are well maintained and pretty peaceful. The only complaint is that the bugs - mosquitoes and gnats - can make it less than enjoyable unless you want to walk (or bike) at a brisk pace the entire time. Stop and you will definitely be attacked!

this is a lovely park - a nice network of trails to walk or ski.If you like to climb hills on skis, this will excite you - it has some elevation change but not much. They have a nice visitor center with a gift shop.

If you like walking through swarms of small insects, this is the walk for you, at least in June, 2014. Do. It know if this is always the case. Lovely area, forts and river and nicely maintained trails. Fairly new. We walked in on the Harry trail, very buggy. We walked back on Taylor trail and that was much better. A pretty place, but wear insect repellant
