冬天的缘故，连接剑桥和Backbay的桥上风好大，但是照样有很多穿着短裤慢跑的人。河对岸就是麻省理工，日落的时候映着河岸很美。如果不是冬天应该更有生气吧。

i like to say the Charles River is like the Seine in Paris. Boston is the right bank and Cambridge is the left bank.Whether you want to relax and watch the action on the river or be a part of it - in good weather it offers so much. Community boating near the Charles MGH stop on the Red line. Events ; Head of the Charles Regatta, Dragon boat races with places for families who have adoped children from Asia to meet others from the same country with activities for kids in each tent.etc Check for events when you are in town.On the Cambridge side , Memorial Drive is closed to vehicles on Sunday so it is open open for those visiting the River, skate boarding or roller bladieng or just strolling. $th of July fireworks. When you are in Boston, you must cross some bridge and see the view of Charles river!I remember when I first came to Boston someone drove over Mass Ave bridge and I saw this gorgeous skyline of night scene of Boston. I fell in love.During the summer you can enjoy Kayaking on Charles river and it is so gorgeous!

The Charles River is a worth your time to see. It is great to walk or run on the paths along the river. In the warm months, a Duck Tour is a must !

I'd you're a tourist and want something to do. The. The river is well worth a boat trip, as you can get food views of the buildings either side.

This river is beautiful in all seasons. I must say that me favorite time of year is the Fall. I highly recommend going to the Head of the Charles Regatta. It is the largest regatta in the world. It is just awesome. Plus you have all of Cambridge and Boston right there to enjoy!

The Charles River has beautiful views of both Boston and Cambridge. The skyline at night leaves one speechless. This was my 5 time traveling to the area of the past 2 years and I still love it! Would move here in a heartbeat just for the views.

This is a Boston gem for sure. The Cambridge side offers a nice place to walk/run, with great Boston views. The Boston side offers great place to walk/run, along with many places to stop and relax, rent sailboats, skip over to Boston in 5 mins. If you come to Boston be sure to enjoy the Charles!

It's a river, not sure what you can do with it other than to walk along the banks. Not bad scenery, but nothing to get excited about. I just question listing this as an attraction.

Beautiful seeing the rowers out on the river, all wrapped up to stay warm and rowing as singles, doubles, fours and eights.

Took some lovely pictures of the Boston skyline from the Cambridge side. A lovely walking path and bridges to go across. Just a beautiful area!

It's lovely and enchanting. One can just sit next to the bank or actively get into a canoe or water board. Very pleasant to just walk along the banks too.

Spent a week in Cambridge with friends. Went walking along the Charles every day. Enjoyed watching crew practice on the river.
