As year-round residents, we've had the pleasure of viewing White Heron's plays on Nantucket during all four seasons. This summer we have season tickets and if the first two performances are any indication of what is yet to come, we can't wait for more! This is a great place for summer folks and year-rounders to feel right at home and to enjoy NYC calibre theater. Great date night venue with restaurants and inns close by within walking distance. Kudos to White Heron.

We just finished a weekend trip to Nantucket, and were very pleased to discover this wonderful theater. We saw "Small World," a funny, thought-provoking original play about Walt Disney meeting Igor Stravinsky -- it was awesome. Looking at the calendar, all the plays looked great - we'll have to come back to see another. I love that they give an opportunity to see original works. The theatre is currently located in a tent on North Water Street that provides an cozy, intimate feel, and is planning a move to larger, more permanent quarters in 2015. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Traveling to Nantucket for a summer sojourn? Expect to find glorious beaches, wonderful boutiques, fabulous restaurants AND.... World Class Theatre!We were staying right down the block at a Bed and Breakfast, so imagine our surprise to find a theatre right there in our neighborhood!Nestled in the Classiest "Tent" theatre complete with theatre seating is an Equity House with professional actors! This was a treat.They present a rotating schedule of shows.... there was something for everyone... last years' offerings were among others, God of Carnage and Love Letters.. Both MARVELOUS!Dont miss this opportunity to see a professional theatre production while on vacation...... BROADWAY quality in an intimate unique setting and good ticket prices!... and then as you exit the theatre, walk a couple blocks and get an ice cream cone....That's a perfect summer evening for us!
