You really can't go wrong with a night out at The Globe. I've been going there for years and haven't been met with disappointment yet! I thank you for being one of the few establishments that you just love to count on for a solid night out. And if Mike Armstrong is playing so much the better! Oh, please indulge in a quality Trappist Belgium beer. I thank you so much for carrying them.

Are you looking for great food and top notch entertainment, especially on a Saturday night? The Globe will fit the bill! Seafood burrito is incredible. Ahi tuna and salmon are exceptional. Copper Sky was the music act the night we were there and they were very entertaining. Make a reservation, even I the off season, because The Globe attracts a crowd. We are looking forward to our nex visit.

First, the restaurant was not crowded when we went but they told us we'd have to wait 10 minutes before seating our family of six. When we were seated, we saw two other tables for six still empty. Weird. This happened to us multiple times on vacation...I guess "shore time" is a little different than in the Philly suburbs. I'm used to the theory of 'If the table is empty, seat it so the suckers don't leave!'.Our food was really good and the portions were HUGE. They had the standard fare for the less adventurous but some interesting choices too. They make a mean mojito...not too sweet. The kids meals were gigantic so I'd recommend having the kids share if you have more than one. The ambiance is nice too. We were living like we were on vacation but were still surprised when the bill was twice what we usually pay back home.

The Globe has one of the best brunches on the Lower Eastern Shore. It is a favorite eatery for us to visit when we get to the Ocean City area. The menu is extensive and varied and very well made. I love their seafood omelet bursting with shrimp, crab meat and scallops. The steak and eggs dish and their Chesapeake Benedict which has crab meat and canadian bacon are my other favorites. They often also have a filet mignon brunch special as well, which I've enjoyed. The staff at the Globe are very nice and welcoming and the ambiance is warm and with a quaint Victorian feel. The main eating area has a little stage where we've always enjoyed a variety of talented solo performers on the stage. The have a super long bar area where we've enjoyed our drinks as well while waiting for a table. Our experience with the service over the years has been a positive one. The staff are friendly and eager to please. This is a rare place to visit and enjoy on the Lower Eastern Shore. I highly recommend it.

When we got there, the host sat us at a center table even though there were better tables all around. We asked to sit on the edge at one of the better tables, but he said they were reserved. The problem was that when we left, no one had been seated at ANY of them. My wife has a sulfide allergy (shellfish, tree nuts) so we tried to stay away from those items. Our witress was unfamiliar with what items had shellfish or tree nuts in them. Even after she checked with the kitchen, our appetizer ended up having walnuts in it, and she had a reaction to them. The food was mediocre, and the atmosphere was terrible. We had to ask them to dim the lights to improve the ambiance. We wont be back.

I've been here a few times before but my latest visit was most impressive. Great veggie options for the non-meat eater. Staff was super friendly. Every and I mean every employee greeted me as I came and left. A true asset to Berlin. Great food!!

We are locals and this is a favorite spot for bar dining and listening to live music. The cream of crab soup is one of the best around -- served in a mug. All the food is tasty and healthy. If you feel like bellying up to the bar - you can eat there too. Nice break from shopping and beaching if you are on vacation. Look in the local papers to see the live music playing there. I hear brunch is good, but haven't made it yet -its on the list !

My Sister recommended this restaurant to us and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is a renovated theater in the town of Berlin Maryland. They have a very large selection of beer and drinks and the food was outstanding. You can eat a really big meal or just have bar food or appetizers. The wait staff was outstanding. If the band is playing and you don't want to be in the same room, there are plenty of other places to sit in including the balcony and others. Please give it a try.

My wife and I were staying in Ocean City and drove over to Berlin which was converted for the day into a huge parking lot for the "Cruisin" cars. We went into the Globe to see what it looked like and decided to come back that night to eat. Opted to eat at the bar and got a perfect martini and great food served by a terrific bartender. The atmosphere in this former theater is very unique and comfortable and definitely worth a drive over from OC.

Good food, good price's, and friendly staff... Entertainment is always interesting! Well worth the 10 minute drive with just being a few miles outside of Ocean City, but well worth the trip..

Converted 1917 movie theatre, The Globe. Food was delicious especially the cream of crab. Located to the right of Atlantic Hotel on the side street.

Enjoyed The Globe Theater for a date night with my hubby this weekend. Featured local brewery, Burley Oaks and my Pomegranate Cosmo was fabulous...it actually contained alcohol ;-)!!! Food was delicious, service was fantastic and it was so cool to eat dinner on the stage area of an old theater.

Cool building - old theater - complete with B& W film showing. Very artistic vibe with a local artists work on display. The menu had a variety of options including vegetarian & GF. I would call it eclectic comfort food! We had 2 adults, a teenager & a 5 year old and everyone was able to find a meal that they loved. Great selection of beer as well and loved the reggae music playing subtly in the background. Definitely a unique dining experience... So much better than a chain restaurant.
