Facility has 3 museum buildings (transportation, farm and life) dating back prior to the 1950's. There are many artifacts with historical explanation in each building. Volunteers are available for any question you may have, they are very helpful and friendly. In addition to the 3 buildings there is heritage village contain approximately 6 building depicting there historical times. Those who enjoy viewing historical homes will really enjoy these viewings. Volunteers were very knowledgeable regarding the homes and families history.Facility has special events from broom and bread making. Check calender events for additional enjoyment.Overall this is a very entertaining place for both adults and children. The museums and village is free but donations are encouraged. This is definitely a trip worth taking if you into historical time periods for items described above. If you do decide to take the historical village tour a guide is required for in house viewing.Museum is open only Saturday and Sunday hours but scheduled visits are available.
