This place is a lot of fun and a great option when you want to do something different with friends. Not to mention, it's great exercise! I initially came here as a group outing with my work colleagues and we all took the introductory class together, which was great. It was very thorough and I felt ready to go out on my own afterward. I've been back several times since then. If you plan to go several times per month, the membership is worth it. For just once in a while, I pay separately each time. It's not the cheapest thing to do, but I think it's worth the price for such a unique experience. The staff are amazing and have great senses of humor. They definitely make you feel more at ease in an environment where you may feel overwhelmed or shy at first. It does tend to get pretty crowded in the afternoons and on weekends, which is the only reason I didn't give it a full 5 rating.

We had a kids birthday party here, and it was an excellent experience for the kids and adults alike. Their staff is enthusiastic, helpful, and knowledgeable. It's a fun, safe environment to start learning the sport of rock climbing.

Notably smaller than the Rockville location but still awesome! The staff has always been friendly - I have never in all of my visits ever had a bad experience with them. Can get quite busy and be hard to find locker space but the climbers always seem nice. Nice little gym with a slack line and great climbing. Good selection of all different levels of climbing. Membership is worth it if you go a few times a month otherwise they will let you purchase I think 6 passes in advance and get the 7th one free.

They had a good array of climbing walls from relatively easy to very difficult so good for both beginners and experts. They need to double the size of the facility though to really give folks a chance to do more than one ascent.

I was surprised at how busy the place was. There are usually a few groups there but there were lines at some walls. Still, fun to climb.

Nice place to go with friends. Whether you are doing it for the first time(like me) or a seasoned pro it's a nice place to go to. Spent several hours trying out different walls and having a blast pushing myself

Our 9 year old daughter is a total tomboy and loves to climb on everything. She's had one birthday party here and is planning another. She also goes to the Friday night climbs

Wonderful facility for beginners through advanced climbers. Very positive attitude particularly with kiddos. Encourage challenging yourself while supporting your efforts. Super experience !!!

My husband & I took my sister rock climbing for her birthday. We took the intro to climbing class and found the instructors to be extremely knowledgeable and tons of fun. Getting to the top of the wall for the first time is such a rush that I'm just counting down the days until I can go back. Earth Treks is very well-kept and a has tons of walls to climb of different difficulty

The staff did a great job hosting our daughters 9th birthday party. 18 kids had a blast. Really good time.

This is something I thought I'd never do. Well, I've been climbing now for about 7 years. The few gyms I've visited are nowhere near as good or as big as Earth Treks. I'm a member of Lifetime Fitness, have used their wall once, and never again. The staff is wonderful here. They know us by name. And it's great to have 3 other Earth Treks to visit. Each is very different.

If you like indoor rock climbing, this is the place to be. A lot of walls to climb all with different levels of difficulty. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially with novice climbers.

Yeah, I know "No place to sit" is an odd title for a rock climbing venue, but I didn't go there to climb...I went there so my child could climb. In all fairness, there are a couple of chairs, but only in the front, so you can't watch your kid if they are in the back or upstairs.l

MY NEPHEW AND HIS WIFE JOINED. In the winter they do not get out to rock climb so they come here and love it! I have watched them and am pleased they rope each other and know what they are doing! I sit and use my IPAD, while they are sweating!

We've gone to Earth Treks on and off for a couple years. We're always impressed with the facility and staff. We've been there for multiple classes and birthday parties. It has levels for everyone.
