I've lived in Harford County for 30+ years and had never been to Steppingstone (while it was open). There are a few buildings which are restored from the late 1800's and early 1900's when the site was used as a cannery. Nice place to visit, though I recommend doing it while there is a fair or such going on as we did.

We visited the 2014 Fall Festival at the Steppingstone Museum and had a great time. It is truly a hidden gem out in the country.

The interpreters really take the time to engage the visitors. We were here for Park Quest. My daughter loved it. Worth a stop.

Great museum, but the the park is what we go there for. If you love to hike, the trails in the area are the best. You could easily string together 50 miles of trail in the Susquehanna State Park for hiking, running or mountain biking. The museum is a great point to start and end you exploration of area. The mill and mansion are historical gems.

We went during the Celtic festival, it was so fun. We toured the house and grounds. Our tour guide David was very knowledgeable, and pleasant.

We have enjoyed many of the special events held in this beautiful setting and look forward to more. Any time we have been here, we have felt that the venue was so well-organized and w elcoming.

This museum/farm is a fun trip. We went during a festival which included live bluegrass music and a lot of food vendors. What is there normally includes artisans and crafters on blacksmithing, woodworking, and other things. There is an old house to tour and other exhibits. Its a fun place to take the kids.

Great place for school kids and curious adults to see what life used to be like for our grandparents. Harford County used to have over 700 canneries!

I went to a Celtic event at this location. I look forward to attended some of the other events throughout the year.
