This is a small aviation museum located on a rural grass airport designed to recreate “grassroots” aviation as you would have experienced it 60 years ago. Exhibits include: 1937 DC-3 airliner (open to enter), replica 1911 Wright glider, Wright R-2600 & Lycoming R-680 radial engines, 1930’s rotating beacons, 1922 Autocar dump truck salesman’s model 4:1 scale. Tour Hangers: 1944 Stearman biplane (WWII trainer), 1943 Stinson Reliant V-77, BÜCKER Jungmann (1957 C.A.S.A. 1.131E), 1939 & 1940 Piper Cub’s, Piper Pacer, Smith Mini-Plane, Aviat Husky, Moyes Dragonfly & Bailey Moyes Tempest glider, 1955 Schweizer SGU 2-22 glider, 1957 Aeronca Champion 7EC & full size fiberglas F4U Corsair. Biplanes rides available one weekend per month.
