We have been going to OCMD for years and we always rent near Northside Park. It is a beautiful, well maintained, large park that is great for a lot of things. If you want to take the dog for a walk, toss or kick the ball around, jog or bike, or just enjoy some great scenery this is the perfect place to do it. In addition to all that, during the summer they always have some kind of sporting tournament going on which can be fun to watch. Sunday's in the park is also a great family friendly activity with lots of entertainment and fun for kids and adults alike. I love the sand and the beach as much as anyone, but even I enjoy a nice change of pace from the sand and the waves and Northside park is a great place to do it.

Great playground for the kids and a great walking trail for the adults. Great views of the bay and picnic tables too.

This park is a great place to walk and enjoy the bay. There's a pier that you can walk out on into the bay. Small bridges to walk over. Lovely scenery all around.

Town did a beautiful job with that park. Kudos. One of the few things I like about the town. The view of the bay at sunset makes it worthwhile to visit.

I own a condo that is at 127th St. and right in front of the park. The Winterfest Lights and New Year's Eve fireworks are fantastic. I have 2 dogs and I thoroughly enjoy walking them along the paths....they enjoy it even more! Soccer fields, softball fields and flag football fields are all in excellent condition and put to good use. Great park for joggers and others out to enjoy the fesh air in the park. Stop by...you will be glad you did.

Off season, OC can be a little quiet, but thanks to the Winterfest, things are pretty happening! We happen to visit on one of the last nights, but everything still looked amazing! Plenty of free parking. Pick up your tickets kids 11 and under are free. Enter the building, wait for a tram. Once on the tram, prepare to be amazed at the Christmas wonderland created in this delightful park. TIP: bring a blanket...to sit on, not to cover, the seats are freezing.I'm season, North Side park is buzzing with activity. Groups come to use the sports fields. There's a large playground for the kids. Plenty of pavilion and seating out of the sun.Of course walking paths, scenic views and a long pier leading our to a small gazebo. A perfect spot to walk the sun set over the bay. We absolutely love it here!!!

They do a great job with the Light Show at Christmas. Kids had a great time riding the Trams at the park.

We visited OC New Years Eve and afterwards, and were impressed with Northside Park. The Winterfest Lights were enjoyable, and the New Years Eve Fireworks display was a pleasant surprise -- good length and great fireworks! Nice location too to get in and out. Good stuff!

Northside park has a fantastic playground for kids of all ages. Directly adjacent are picnic tables and charcoal grills. There are also numerous ballfield, jogging paths and even outdoor exercise equipment (all using your own body weight for resistance).A nice long pier jutting out into the bay provides nice vies or crabbing if you get there early enough (though thus far I have not caught anything big enough to keep). If you come for the 4th of July, they have an outdoor bazaar and concert along with the best fireworks display you could ask for.

The annual Holiday Light display is an absolute must when visiting between Thanksgiving and New Year. Tens of Thousands of lights imaginatively set up. Visit includes about a 15 minute tram ride through this awesome display with music playing. Kids under 11 years old are free.
