Unless you are looking for the ultimate bungee jumping thrill, these towers are really just a visual confirmation that you have actually arrived in Soweto. Time to get out the camera!

I did the free fall here. The bungee jump lift was down, not that I wanted to bungee jump, so there weren't a lot of people there. A group went up before us and we waited to see what it was like. We decided to do it and I loved it. Its scary looking but it was not that bad. The worst part was the ladder and that wasn't bad at all. I would recommend this activity.

Was nice to see the artwork on the Orlando towers but now way would you get bungee jumping off of them... With one of the towers having murals of South Africa and the other with corporate FNB branding.

I enjoyed my first visit so much I had to come back and bring my friends. Jumped in the cooling tower, yelled like a little girl, had some great traditional food and cold beer. Will definitely come back!

The operation is very well run by friendly, helpful and competent staff. We abseiled of the towers and the Instructor was excellent. a fantastic atmosphere around the waiting area on on the viewing platform. The views along are spectacular.

We were with a large group for a Soweto tour one day. My fiance and I spotted Orlando Towers from the tour bus, and decided we were going to go there some way or some how. Our tour guide had no problem with us leaving the group and changing our plans for the day. The tour guide arranged for transportation to Orlando Towers and back to our hotel at the end of the day. Of course this cost extra money, but it was worth it and we were so lucky to have a guide that could quickly make this happen for us. When we arrived there was everything you could want in an adventure sports park - bungee jumping, rock climbing, laser tag, etc. There was also a bar and restaurant, and cool music playing. It was a great place to hang out and have fun.If you want to do any of the activities, sign up as soon as you get there and get your number! They're very efficient for keeping a schedule and post what numbers are being serviced next. Then you wait in a holding area until your number is up. It gets busy as the day goes on, so you will have to wait awhile for bungee or SCAD if you don't get a number ASAP.I wasn't into the bungee, but it looks cool. SCAD was cool. Free fall into a net. Just be aware to get the SCAD platform, you have to climb ladder outside one of the towers. You also have to climb this ladder back down. I had sandals with a strap around my ankle, so no issues loosing my shoes, but they didn't have traction on the bottom of them. A little worrisome climbing up and down the ladder.Definitely a most see attraction in Soweto!!!

We took our cients on a tour to Orlando Towers. Also to Vilikazi street where Nelson Mandela stayed. it was an awesome experience! you can bungy jump, there is a resturant, very popular, it has a laid back atmosphere.Vilikazi street has a great atmosphere, with stalls, resturants in the same street. There is also a tour to through Mandela's house and the Hector Pietersen museum.a guided tour is recommended.

We took a self drive up to the towers and walk around, impressive sight and some great art work, The resturant is very popular although we didnt sit down to eat, the venue has great ambiance and the atmosphere is relaxed. The towers had a couple of people bungy jumping off them which made for an interesting watch. Very clean and well managed and security is not an issue

These Towers are symbol of Johannesburg and are amazing to check even from far away. It is worth it to go there and take a look (or maybe jump from the top)!

Went past as a part of the Red City Bus Tour, hadn't the courage to do the bungee jump! But it's really a sight to see and so worth it! Great monument with such fantastic murals on it!

The Orlando Towers can be viewed from all over the Soweto area. You can even bungee into and from the towers. But the artwork alone is well worth the look, showing the best of South Africa. This was a must see for me when we travelled to SA.

Let me explain why I say average...the bungee jump was awesome!!! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and informative. They really keep your spirits up:) That was the best part of the day. however, certain attractions are advertised that are non existant such as the orlando towers museum. The general housekeeping of the area is not great... Litter at the base of the towers, dilapidated buildings. There's not much variety for eating out other than chafs pozi.... more for the tourist than the patriotic south african. OT needs an upgrade...so much potential!

So ok, I finally took the leap and jumped...was in Soweto and decided to be adventurous so I went to the Orlando Towers, it was truly liberating to jump so high and actually loose yourself in that fall. Next time you decide to explore Soweto, make a stop at the Orlando Towers oh and before I finish off....I got addicted to the chisa nyama at Chaf Pozi lol.

The Orlando Towers are big and colorful but not worth the stop. You can pass close driving and see from the car.
