There are "packaged" Irish bars all over the world......but not this one.Rogans is as authentically Irish as it's landlord. If you are in the islands and on Mahe a visit to Rogans is a time well spent. There is always something happening there and the bar food is excellent. Whether you simply wish to relax with a drink or join in a sing song there is something for you. Many a legendary night has been had in this spot. When proprietor Pat is there then the place is even more alive. A must visit.

Pat organised my bday while i was there. Amazing place, good vibes and the place to be to down some fancy drinks and the legendary Guiness! The owner brought some fine irish vibes into seychelles! Hope to be there again. ROGAN and staff Thanks again for the great bday party. Roy

Went to the bar on a karaoke night on a Friday, had an absolute blast. Great mix of locals and tourists, the place was bopping. Pat the owner is a great laugh and the DJ was great, and the drinks were good value. Would recommend to anyone looking for a party on a Friday night!

I visited the Seychelles numerous times for work over 2013 and I found Rogan's by far was the most entertaining bar on the island. Weekends are great with excellent karaoke on Friday night which always packs the bar, you'll hear some serious divas and some awful triers ...great for laughs!Some very talented local DJs play at different times during the week bringing African calypso beats, dance hall, hip-hop, trance, techno and house music, so music to make you dance!Sports events also are aired on large TVs and a projectors, good sound system too. The crowd is a mixture of locals, tourists and visiting sea fairers. At least once a month you'll encounter visiting naval crews from the international anti piracy task force, so you could end up chatting to Chinese, Canadians, British, Russians or Americans and other nationalities and all of them are after the genuine cold Guinness that's flown in from Dublin.....it's seems the arrival of the Guinness shipment each month has become an event in its own right!The staff are really friendly and dispense good local knowledge about events and sights worth visiting...the owner Patrick ( A Mayo man) makes the place, he's seriously good fun, and is always willing to entertain and help you out in any way he can.All in all...Rogan's Irish Bar is a proper Irish bar in the middle of the Indian Ocean, If you want to 'plug in' the the Seychelles make sure you visit here!

Great spot. Went there on Payday-Friday (top notch karaoke) and the place was bopping. The crowd was great fun, a nice mix of locals and people from every other corner of the world. The staff were lovely too. The owner Pat spent time both sides of the bar and was extremely welcoming.And the Guiness was a close second to the stuff they serve at home.If you're looking for a place to drink in the Seychelles, forget the Boardwalk and head to Rogan's bar.

I've visited Rogan's Irish bar quite a few times now. There are always things I look for when visiting a place. Is it clean, are the staff friendly and is the entertainment good. This place ticks all the boxes!! Located near the port it gets people from all walks of life visiting, the staff are amazing and the owner is a true Irish man to the core! They have regular entertainment from karaoke to sports nights and music events. One of my personal favourites was a cocktail tasting evening! Fantastic!! Come here if you love the Craic :-) An experience not to be missed if you are visiting Mahe.
