今年二月是我第二度造访肯亚，但第一次是公务行程没有安排活动，这次时间也有限只有一个整天，我是一个女生要去玩，不像是许多人是情侣或是家庭，但司机和向导Simon很可靠，可以放心把你的旅程交给他。虽然他们的价钱不算便宜，但我联络了travel advisor上排名前面的好几家只有两家回我报价，而且很迅速回应任何问题的只有他们。我使用线上刷卡付订金也很方便可靠。我报的是Lake Nakuru的一日游，本来预定的时候是说早上和下午各有一场game drive，但事实上中午大太阳出来动物都躲起来，即使在那边绕也没用，后来Simon问我是否想要自费去Lake Navasha boat safari，因为要额外五十美金所以我很怕是诈骗观光客，但后来看来还好也算是值得。Lake Nakuru前会停一个卖手工艺品的休息站，建议如果要买的话杀价要大杀特杀，我杀到1/3但后来有机会比价还是发现有买贵一些，但如果你像我一样没有其他机会购物，价钱如果觉得自己可以接受就行了。基本上这家公司我会推荐，向导说他们公司有提供不同价位的住宿，如果你要去比较多天而他报的价位你无法接受，建议问问看有没有比较低价的，据他的说法是不会因此让客人玩得品质很差，大家可以参考看看。

第一天抵达奈洛比机场，发现Qatar airway把我们的行李遗留在上一个转机点Doha，谢谢Robert帮我们确认行李状况，让我们可以放心地继续原本的行程，谢谢Mary上网帮我们查到行李delay的资讯，当行李抵达奈洛比，Robert主动协调其他Guide帮我们运送行李到马赛马拉（当时我们正在马赛马拉），人生地不熟，谢谢Explorer Kenya给予我们莫大帮助。事实上，整件事情都不是explorer kenya的责任，应该是Qatar airway应该要处理的，但并非如此，Qatar Airway非常被动，甚至原本说好要寄行李到饭店也没有做到，令我们非常失望！我们在肯亚的向导Simon，开车技术非常好，也很会找动物，对动物的认识非常广泛，不管是地上走的还是天空飞的，都叫得出名字，我们非常佩服他。这次我们看到的Big5，也看到了猎豹，真的很棒！Simon找花豹的时候，让我们见识到他的耐心，几乎是一个树丛一个树丛慢慢找，最后真的让他找到了，而且还是一只刚猎捕完牛羚的花豹哦！我们在坦尚尼亚的向导Max，是一个非常谦和有礼的绅士，一开始安排行程时，不知道这季节坦尚尼亚Serengeti没有甚么动物，当时还安排了三晚，第一天Game drive结束后惊觉不对，立刻找Max讨论，也谢谢Max给予我们很大帮助，马上协调Robert更改行程，提前出发到ngorongoro。临时预定的饭店是Max推荐的，非常棒，是我们整趟旅行住最好的一晚，当我们得知一个晚上是300美金时，甚至以为是一人300美金（由此可知这个饭店有多么美好），结果竟然是两人300美金，物超所值！下次再去肯亚，我们还是会选择explorer kenya！非常棒，大力推荐！

Spent a couple of days with good-natured Simon visiting Nairobi National Park, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha, and he was great at finding wildlife. Wi-fi in the car was a nice plus. Robert handled the bookings and was very responsive before and during the trip. Plan to book with them again to visit other parks.

Simon did an outstanding job showing us the wildlife of Masai Mara. He went out of his way to go "off road" so that we could have the best views of the animals. A very nice feature was the fact that WIFI was available in the car (thanks to Simon´s "hot spot" on the way to go and come back from Masai Mara...it´s a seven hour ride with traffic so great distraction.

My fiancee and I booked a safari through Explorer Kenya and had an incredible time! The process of booking the safari was very easy, and Robert was very attentive and planned a great trip for us. We ended up doing the Masai Mara (our favorite), Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru trip. All of the accommodations were exactly what we were wonderful and the staff everywhere was so nice.Even better, Simon, our guide, was fantastic. He was good natured, funny, and made us feel very safe. In addition, he was not only very knowledgeable about animals but Kenyan culture and modern Kenya as well.We would strongly recommend him again to anyone! We were shocked by how many animals we saw and how close we got! We would book again with him in a second.

We are just back from our amazing Kenya trip and I would like to recommend Robert Murigi, although we did not book trip with him. He quoted us very good price and he is very fast to respond to emails. He also has very good connections with resorts from his email and he gets you tier-1 resorts for a price of tented camp.

We booked a safari with Robert and he catered to our every wish. I requested exactly what I wanted and what I wished to experience while on safari. Robert was patient and laid out a plan for our fours days in Kenya. Althought the safari was short, we had a marvelous time. We stayed at only kilometers from Mt. Kilimanjaro, observed a host of animals, and visited a Maasai village. Our tour guide Simon was extremely knowledgable and accommodating. The safari to Kenya was eye-opening and an experience we will cherish forever. Explorer Kenya is a wonderful tour group. You will not be sorry if you book them.Monica RichardsonTokyo, Japan

Explorer Kenya were always quick at responding to any of ours queries and gave options etc. We were a familly of 4 (2 boys, 6&8), we weren't sure if the kids would be ok on the safari but Robert assured us they would be fine and it was all brilliant. We had Moses, who turned up early to pick us up. Moses was a fantastic guide and was brilliant with the kids. We went for one of the cheaper packages, staying in a tent. The accomodation although looked 'rustic' when we got there it was excellet and the all inclusive food was also great.Moses was a really safe driver and we saw loads of animals and had fun together.I would deffinately recommend this company to all of my friends and family. Thank you Explorer Kenya! (although we are all massively jealous of the previous reviewer who got to see what sounds like an amazing kill!)

My brother and I used Explorer Kenya to organize a safari for us at the Mara. The organization process was very prompt, and Robert was very quick with his responses. He gave us different options and outlined the prices for each of them. There were no hidden surprises.We opted for a private safari for just the 2 of us. I am glad that we did as we could ask our guide what we want to see and he tried his best to make it happen. And make it happen, he did. Our guide Michael was fantastic - he was not over-bearing. He gave us only the requested information, and let us just enjoy the experience as we would like it. What we saw was that he had in depth understanding of the Mara (as every guide should), but at the same time he had respect for animals. He didnt get too close to any of them to disturb their natural rythm, but always stayed on the trails. The highlight of our trip was when 2 cheeta brothers killed a wildebeest. Being on a private safari allowed us to see this kill live. we stayed on-site for almost 5 hours and saw from prep until the wildebeest was no more. What an adrenaline rush when the cheetas started running for the kill!We would like to thank Explorer Kenya for promising us a great safari and delivering it!

I booked on site with Robert, professional and offered a customized tour versus other companies who were not too proactive. The safari was amazing in large due to Simon, my driver/guide, who was very knowledgeable of the animals and attentive to make my safari memorable, even by offering wifi in the jeep! Recommend to request Simon to spot the animals!

First of all, there is no Ebola in Kenya so far. The animals we saw is more than then people we met. We are glad to choose Explore Kenya. It's not because the price but the service and the feedback time. I sent our itinerary three agents, only Explore Kenya provided its own format and professional description. Even our member number is quite complicated and Robert always has patient to answer all questions. In the last day, the lunch doesn't include but sue to Mary already put it on the itinerary, they paid the meals to demonstrate their responsibility and professional spirits. Well, what can we say....we booked a safari through Explorer Kenya for our honeymoon and had the time of our lives! Everything was well organised and ran smooth, communication with Robert was very good from start to finish and he answered any queries we had prior to our holiday.Food and accommodation were top notch, always something for everyone. Our driver 'Michael' was brilliant, friendly and obviously very knowledgeable about Kenya and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great time. We also missed him when leaving him in Nairobi to leave for the coast. Given all the media attention recently we were a little apprehensive when we booked to go but we can assure anyone wanting to go we felt safe at all times and we were reassured through Robert from the onset. Kenya is a stunningly beautiful country and we would urge anyone to go and enjoy this amazing experience:) Would DEFINITELY recommend this company and will use them again if we return:)

Background preparation -Had wonderful communication with Robert, plenty of questions answered by him. Advance payment was smooth and trip well organised. Trip itself was an out of the world experience especially with the 15 year experienced Simon. He was compassionate and Caring about the animals, yielded to our requests, told as plenty of things on Animal behavior and made our life that easy. Thanks Robert and Thanks a Lot Simon

We chose Explorer Kenya because its representative, Robert, answered to all our emails very promptly, always in few hours, and also during weekends. This contributed to strengthening our trust in this company when we made our final choice.The experience with this safari operator was very positive. The only negative point was that Robert knew we were going to pay the balance in cash and he did not inform us that old 100 dollar bills are not widely accepted by banks in Kenya. We had with us few such bills, and the first day we had to pay 40 dollars more for the safari because, as we were told, the “local parallel market” accepted the bills but with a disadvantageous exchange rate. However, eventually we were happy that a solution was found.The positive points are many. Robert chose very nice lodges, and overall the organization was excellent. The jeep provided has also made a difference.A special mention to Nicholas (Niq), who was an exceptional guide. During the transfers between parks, he drove safely all the time. He was attentive to our needs and he struggled to spot animals. We saw all the big five and many scenes with animals in action, including two spectacular wildebeest crossings. We strongly recommend Niq for his kindness and professionalism during our 7-day safari experience.Visited Kenya in September 2014.

Really enjoyed the safari trip in Samburu, Lake Naivasha and Maasai Mara. We had an amazing trip of seeing original beauty, and it's really good to escape from cities for a while. Many thanks to our guide Simon, we had a good time.J
