depending on the car hire category, all are
fully maintained to the highest standard and
receive a full valet and rigorous 40+ point safety check before each car rental.
In the unlikely event of a breakdown while you
are driving around New Zealand all our hire
cars are covered by the AA’s 24 hr Roadservice.
With the exception of Christmas Day, our staff are on hand 7 days a week, during office ours, at rental locations throughout NZ to assist you should you have any queries. For the purposes of rental car pick ups or drop offs we have after hours arrangements in place that also apply to Christmas Day.
We have been renting cars in New Zealand to holiday makers and business travellers from around the globe for over 20 years and estimate that we have satisfied the rental car requirements of over 300,000 customers in this time. You’ll find plenty of independent reviews on google, facebook and rankers.
We provide you with a 500+page NZ travel guide, but are also only too happy to assist with driving directions or GPS rental to ensure your journey is stress free and enjoyable.
Some companies charge you for every kilometre that you travel in your New Zealand rental car, but at Omega all our rates are based on unlimited kilometres, giving you the freedom to relax and explore New Zealand without unnecessary constraints.
Our free talking travel app will help you find all the best things to see and do around New Zealand. Once downloaded you can even use the App without going online, and the auto play function means it will alert you as your car is approaching a place of interest
Omega’s collision damage waiver reduces your excess down to nil, providing peace of mind for drivers 21 years+ at one of the cheapest rates in the NZ car rental industry.
Our rental vehicles are completely un-branded, which means that whether you are a visitor or a local, travelling NZ for business or pleasure, your car will not easily be identified as a rental car, which many of our customers prefer for security reasons.
